Jim Enright, former member of WPTC and retired chemist living in New Jersey, had his first book published entitled Flagstaff Hill. Flagstaff Hill is a fictional story about a runner which takes place in Pittsburgh.
Flagstaff Hill has received the Editor’s Choice Award from iUniverse Publishing Co. Only those titles that meet the essential qualities of a professionally published book are chosen to receive the Editor’s Choice Award. An independent editor for iUniverse stated…
“This is a good story in the hands of a skilled author. Flagstaff Hill is a timely take on the subject of steroid use (with the “local color” of the world of distance running) and will find an appreciative readership, especially among runners in the greater Pittsburgh community.”
A second editor declared…
“Setting plays an important role in Flagstaff Hill, and the author evokes this “local color” extremely well. Visitors to Glacier National Park and residents of Pittsburgh will feel very much at home”. A third editor for Flagstaff Hill said…”The plot is carefully laid out to give the reader all the pieces to a complex and interrelated story that comes together neatly at the end. Each incident contributes in some important way to the final outcome, and the author has created a fine layered story.”
This book can be purchased at Fleet Feet Pittsburgh (1751 N. Highland Rd.), Elite Runners & Walkers in McKees Rocks, Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, or by sending an e-mail to the author at jimlynnenright@msn.com.
Part of the proceeds from the sale of each book will be donated to Alzheimer’s Research.
