Hello everyone!
Summer is winding down and fall is right around the corner! I hope everyone had a safe and great summer—even with the strange weather we’ve had!
September means two things… football and the beginning of the fall running season! And what a better way to kick of that running season than joining The Greater Pittsburgh Road Runner’s for the “Hell Hath No Hurry” Dennis J Donnelly Memorial Trail Run on September 13th!
It’s going to be a great Sunday run on one of the wonderful trails in Settler’s Cabin Park! The 10 mile, 5 mile, or 1 mile course is a sure fire way to enjoy the sunshine and friendship of the other runners. Plus, the Steelers play on Thursday the 10th, so there will be no need to rush home for the game!
The 9 AM start will take place at the Settler’s Cabin Park (Algonquin Grove) and will be $1 for GPRRC members and $3 for non-members of the GPRRC.
Also, as always, help the race directors and volunteers out by registering online! It’s fast and easy! Just pull down your name (or add a name if you are not on the list) and choose your distance. Here’s the link for the online registration: http://www.thegreaterpittsburghroadrunnersclub.com/forms/race_registration.php?R_DATE=2009-09-13%2009:00:00
